Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, responsible and dedicated person to join our practice in Neutral Bay, working 3 days a week. Initially the role is casual. You will be working with a dynamic team supporting the dental clinicians. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and deliver chair side assistance, as well as being available to work on Reception as required. This role offers excellent exposure to general dentistry, holistic dentistry, integrative care and cosmetic dentistry.

Qualifications

  • Cert II or 2+ years experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Excellent people and communication skills and the ability to cope well under pressure.
  • Forward planning skills, working with reception and the dentists to ensure that things are running on time and communication is flowing to patients and staff.
  • Working on Reception alongside the other receptionist answering the phone, making appointments and seeing patients out
Responsibilities

Provide a caring environment for the treatment of patients by maintaining and applying effective interpersonal skills and ensuring patient confidentiality.
To assist with clinical management including surgery stock control, recording of clinical activity and maintenance of instruments and equipment, to ensure that dental treatment is provided effectively and efficiently. Proven ability to work effectively within a team or autonomously, utilise discretion in decision making and prioritising.
