Job Description
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in establishing a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
A typical day will see you assisting our patients with their enquiries (both over the phone and in person), generating and confirming appointment bookings for our dentists as well as patient recalls, typing, completing payment processing, banking, and other ad hoc administrative duties as required.
You will support our highly experienced team of clinicians with various interesting dental procedures during patient appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation and infection control and also stock control. Working beside experienced Dentists will give you a great insight into our practice and a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist and Dental Assistant.
  • Experience in dental terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of Sterilisation protocols and guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of dental software is an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Reception duties - meeting & greeting patients, general and booking enquiries, record keeping, payment & insurance processing.
  • Provide clinical chairside assistance.
  • Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Maintain sterilization processes.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic clinical environment.
