DENTAL ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST

We are looking for an experienced, energized, caring, fun dental assistant to work Full time in our beautiful private dental practice. You must have at least 6 moths experience in dental assisting and be able to make excellent crown temps in 15 minutes or less . A major plus( but not required) if we can find someone who can also be able to work or has experience in the front office as well with treatment planning and that person will rotate between the front and the back. Our office is a modern family and cosmetic practice so the position will require a pleasant chair side manner and appearance.
Dental assistant duties will include digital x-rays and charting with clinical notes, four handed dentistry, making temporaries, sterilization, ordering supplies, taking inventory and other general back office duties. Experience working in a private practice setting where patient experience is a priority a plus as well as speaking Spanish.
Dentrix/Dexis experience is a plus.
Must be able to help educate patient on treatment needed and be able to treatment plan.

  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix for documentation and scheduling tasks.
