JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist/ Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within our dental practice, supporting both patients and dental staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist/assisting or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using dental software systems s is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages, including children in pediatric settings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and manage check-in/check-out processes.
  • Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits, ensuring optimal use of the dentist’s time.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems
  • Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing with professionalism.
  • Assist with insurance verification and processing claims as needed.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and patient files and assisting in various dental procedures.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staffs to ensure seamless patient care, including infection control.
