JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology, as well as proficiency in various dental software systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred’
  • Proficient in using dental software systems such as Abeldent or Dentrix.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
  • Experience working with orthodontics and pediatrics is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • We are expanding and looking for a motivated Dental Assistant to join our well established dental clinic. We offer daytime hours. Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after dental procedures.
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure they are properly processed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using software such as Abeldent or Dentrix.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently, including coordinating with the dental receptionist.
  • Handle administrative tasks as needed, including filing insurance claims and managing patient billing inquiries.
