JOB OVERVIEW – DENTAL ASSISTANT (FLUENT IN FILIPINO, EXPERIENCED WITH ABELDENT)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Filipino (Tagalog) and English, with strong communication skills to assist patients effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Dental Assistant diploma or equivalent certification (HARP certification preferred if in Ontario)
• Fluent in Filipino (Tagalog) and English
• Hands-on experience with ABELDent software
• Experience with digital imaging systems, X-rays, and iTero scanner
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent interpersonal and patient-care abilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols
• Update and maintain patient records using ABELDent
• Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort
• Translate and communicate with Filipino-speaking patients as needed
• Operate and assist with digital dental equipment, including X-rays and iTero scanning for Invisalign treatments
• Support the front desk with patient check-in and administrative tasks
