Smile Sensations Canberra City is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant who is also open to learning reception duties, so you can confidently step in when needed.
Whether you’re experienced or brand new to dental assisting, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career in a modern, patient-focused practice. If you’re new to the industry, we’ll provide 3–4 weeks of hands-on training at our Manuka branch before you transition to our City office.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Part-time, fixed shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (7:45am – 5:15pm)
• Wednesdays off – enjoy a midweek break!
• Chairside dental assisting and sterilisation duties
• Reception training included — so you can step in if our receptionist is away
• Supportive and collaborative workplace culture

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist chairside with a variety of dental procedures
• Maintain infection control and sterilisation protocols
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment
• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service
• Learn reception duties: bookings, payments, health fund claims, patient enquiries
• Be a reliable team player, helping where needed
