Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the dentist during a variety of procedures while ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for our adult patients. This position requires:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care
  • Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
  • Capture and process dental X-rays while adhering to safety and regulatory standards
  • Take and upload DSLR photographs to support patient education and treatment planning
  • Accurately manage patient records and documentation using our electronic medical records (EMR) system
  • Provide chairside support using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize procedural flow
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
  • Conduct preliminary assessments, including vital signs and medical history intake
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment
  • Collaborate with the treatment coordinator to schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively
