Dental Assistant (DA) Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing Dental Service Organization (DSO) team in California. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality clinical environment. This role supports our providers in delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining efficiency and compliance with California regulations. Key Responsibilities * Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments * Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures * Take digital X-rays in compliance with CA radiology standards * Chart procedures and document clinical notes accurately * Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene * Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies * Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance * Support front office when needed to enhance patient experience Qualifications * Active California Dental Assistant certification (as required by state law) * X-ray certification (California compliant) * CPR/BLS certification * Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred * Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures * Experience with Denticon or similar dental software preferred * Strong communication and organizational skills * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Compensation & Benefits * Competitive hourly pay: depending on experience and certification * Health, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with company match * Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays * Continuing education opportunities * Career growth within a multi-location DSO Why Join Us?
