Dental Assisting Instructor   Part-Time Faculty About The Job Fortis College in Montgomery, AL is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Dental Assistant Instructor to join its faculty.  If you possess a desire to help others succeed, this is an opportunity for you to positively impact the lives and careers of our students and graduates.   Fortis College offers educational programs that equip students with real-life career skills in high-demand occupations, leading to employment upon graduation and a lifetime of professional growth.   Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Dental Assistant Program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education.  The primary responsibility will be to teach Dental Courses.   Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.    Requirements * Completion of a Dental Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma, associate degree preferred * Certifications * CDA and/or * RDA and * DANB RHS * X-Ray Certified * At least three years of experience as a Certified or Registered DA chairside * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven * Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred  
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility involves teaching courses within the Dental Assistant Program to equip students with real-life career skills. Additionally, the instructor is expected to provide academic advising and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation ceremonies.
