We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and systems such as 3D scanners and medical imaging is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical coding practices is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Basic understanding of vital signs may be beneficial for patient interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Handle patient inquiries regarding treatments, insurance, and billing information.
  • Process payments and manage transactions accurately.
  • Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping.
  • Assist in managing inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
  • Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed, including medical coding and understanding of anatomy related to dental procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area adhering to aseptic techniques.
