Description A CAD Designer is responsible for designing a quality restoration that meets company guidelines and quality standards. The dental technician will review and follow prescriptions and strive to meet daily production requirements. CAD/CAM technicians are responsible for scanning models, cleaning prints, greenstating and designing cases based on Doctors Rx and preferences. Requirements Read, interpret, and design a dental restoration according to the prescription specifications by using dental CAD software program Design restoration while taking into consideration the adjacent and opposing dentition Be sure contacts and occlusion are designed based on the doctor's preferences, prescription instructions, and company standard guidelines Organize, prioritize, and plan workload to meet daily production requirements Learn and understand basic dental terminology Scanning, designing, greenstating & cleaning prints Be willing to perform other duties as necessary based on department needs Ensure work is performed according to quality standards 3 Hours of photography work per week Skills and Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required Self-motivated and able to work autonomously Ability to use and navigate 3-Shape technology (preferred) Able to sit for up to 8 hours per day Communicate and work well with others Strong visual perception, manual dexterity, and motor skills Strong reading comprehension skills and attention to detail Ability to produce within a deadline
