JOB DESCRIPTION Title:                                 Dental Director - Lexington Park FLSA Category:               Exempt Reports To:                      Chief Medical Officer                  Date Issued:                    January 09, 2026 Job Summary: The Dental Director is responsible for providing comprehensive, high-quality dental care and treatment to patients in a clinical setting for the Lexington Park location, in addition to overseeing dental health management, coordinates services with other healthcare providers and agencies, tracks clinical outcomes for special patient populations, and ensures the delivery of optimal patient care. The position also involves supporting and mentoring dental staff, implementing best practices, and participating in program development to enhance overall patient services. The Dental Director assists the Chief Medical Officer to help lead the clinical operations of the Lexington Park clinic location. The Dental Director supports the Chief Medical Officer in long-range strategic planning and in the Quality Performance Improvement program. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedures. * Manage dental health programs and ensure coordination with other healthcare providers and agencies. * Monitor and track clinical outcomes for special populations, ensuring appropriate follow-up and care. * Oversee clinical protocols, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory standards. * Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to dental staff. * Participate in program development, patient education, and initiatives to improve access and quality of care. * Perform any additional duties necessary to ensure optimal patient services. Minimum Qualifications: * DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school. * Active Maryland state dental license and good standing. * Proven clinical experience in general dentistry; experience in leadership or program management preferred. * Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. * Commitment to high-quality patient care and community service. * Nonessential Functions: 1.
