We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Handpiece Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assembling, rebuilding, and repairing all brands and types of pneumatic and electric dental handpieces and attachments. This position requires precision, technical aptitude, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble a variety of dental handpieces (high-speed, low-speed, electric, and attachments). Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or component replacements. Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with performance standards. Maintain accurate repair records and documentation. Follow established quality control and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding repair status or technical issues. Stay current on new models, technologies, and repair techniques across all major brands. Requirements Previous experience in dental handpiece repair or small mechanical/electrical assembly preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. High attention to detail and quality workmanship. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage time efficiently. Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication. Preferred Skills Experience with both pneumatic and electric handpieces (KaVo, NSK, Midwest, Star, Bien-Air, etc.). Familiarity with micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools. Knowledge of dental equipment and industry standards.
