About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team
at Better Dental Pty. Ltd. This is a full-time role based position. As a Dental Hygienist,
you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and promoting oral
health to our loyal longstanding patients.
What you’ll be doing
1. Conduct thorough oral examinations and record patients’ dental and medical
histories
2. Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove plaque,
tartar, and stains
3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalised
advice to maintain good dental health
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with
regulatory requirements
5. Sterilise and maintain dental equipment and instruments to ensure a safe and
hygienic environment
6. Collaborate with the dental team to provide coordinated and comprehensive
patient care
What we’re looking for
A recognised Dental Hygiene qualification and current registration with the Dental
Board of Australia
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
and colleagues
2. Proficiency in using dental equipment and technology, such as digital x-rays
and intraoral cameras
3. Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and maintaining
the practice’s standards
4. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to identify and address
dental issues
5. Adaptable nature to fit the needs for the practice

Pay: $79,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
