The mission of the role is to deliver quality treatment and education to patients all while keeping them comfortable. To be able to explain their needed treatment with compassion and understanding. To help the patient become healthier. Key Performance Indicators Hygiene production Key Responsibilities Seating patient and provide patient comfort as well as the best patient experience possible Updating health histories and taking vital signs Providing preventative hygiene to patients STM treatments (perio charting etc) Sealants Administering local anesthesia Providing patient education about treatment and products that would enhance their health Taking x-rays Cleaning and setting up rooms and instruments if needed Scheduling hygiene patients back for recare appointments Assisting front desk in keeping hygiene schedule full Stocking and Cleaning rooms and sterilizing instruments Taking impressions if needed Providing thorough patient notes Other responsibilities not listed Key Competencies Leading edge Customer focus Team player Communication- Oral Independence Stress management Adaptability Likability Active listening Tenacity Integrity Energy/drive Enthusiasm/passion Requirements Dental Hygiene License
