REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ontario.
• Experience in dental assisting is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care.
• A patient-first mindset with a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Proficiency in using Tracker or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as communication with diverse patient populations is essential.
• Knowledge or experience in pediatrics is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a busy dental office setting.

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
• Apply topical fluoride treatments, sealants, and desensitizing agents as prescribed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as prescribed in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Intra-oral scanning and picture taking for records and potential orthodontic treatment records
• Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases and conditions by providing relevant information to the dentist.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker or similar dental software.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
