Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in delivering exceptional patient care within our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of general dentistry practices and be proficient in medical imaging systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the oral health of our patients through thorough assessments, cleanings, and education on dental hygiene practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain optimal oral hygiene for patients. loop Utilize medical imaging systems to capture high-quality radiographs as needed for diagnosis. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in accordance with clinic protocols. Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop individualized patient care plans. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with patients.
