Description We have a state-of-the-art dental practice at Fort Buchanan as part of Army and Air Force Exchange Services specifically servicing Military Families and Military Veterans. Our practice has a family feel and we focus on building relationships with our patients. Making sure to provide each of our patients with the best quality care. Responsibilities: Participate in daily morning team huddle and weekly Hygiene Huddle. Clean calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums. Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontists. Apply fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to arrest dental decay. Chart conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist. Present Treatment Plan to patients and provide health education to improve and maintain oral health Dental x-rays & Dental Impressions. Record treatment information in patient records. Strong organizational skills. Able to build rapport with patients. Must have excellent verbal and written communication. Requirements Current Registered Puerto Rico Dental Hygienist License At least 1-2 years of Dental Hygienist experience X-Ray Certified CPR/BLS Valid Driver License; Reliable Transportation Must have or be willing to obtain a Real ID prior to starting. Extensive HIPAA knowledge Must be Bilingual (English & Spanish) ________________________________________ If you are made a conditional offer of employment, you will be required to undergo background check (including criminal record check) and drug screening.
