Responsibilities

SPECIFICS ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Job Type: Part Time, Permanent
  • Schedule: Friday & Saturday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sundays 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Performing a full range of clinical hygiene services—including scaling, root planning, polishing, and applying topical fluoride—with precision and care.
  • Assessing and case typing patients in alignment with clinical protocols to ensure appropriate and personalized care plans.
  • Acting as an oral health educator, guiding patients toward healthy habits and long-term preventative care strategies.
  • Building strong and trusting patient relationships through every interaction—your positive attitude and professionalism will shine.
  • Creating a tailored experience for each patient based on their unique needs, expectations, and goals.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Completion of a recognized Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
  • Certification in local anesthesia administration required (or eligible to obtain prior to start date)
  • Registered and in good standing with the ACDH
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
  • Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!
