JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist/ Therapist to complement our team on Fridays. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene and therapy practices and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist and Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on effective dental hygiene techniques.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid dental hygiene licence or certification from an accredited institution.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
  • Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining patient records accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients’ oral health, to carry out necessary treatment within your scope.
  • Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in treatment planning and patient education.
  • Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
