THE PREMIER DOWNTOWN AUSTIN DENTAL IS LOOKING FOR A REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST TO JOIN OUR TEAM

Toothbar is a multi-doctor, high revenue, high fee schedule, truly boutique/spa type practice. Our patients come to us expecting a beautiful space, pristinely kept, spa experience and to receive nothing but the highest level of clinical care. Our hygienists are critical to the health and success of our group.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional preventative and therapeutic dental hygiene services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of dental hygiene, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be dedicated to educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health.

  • Hygienists have their own dedicated operatory and see 6 to 8 patients/day.
  • 4-day workweek
  • We pay $55/hour plus full benefits including 401k, with employer match, and an aggressive bonus plan that pays out $1,000 per hygienist per month when we hit bonus as an office. Bonus is not based on RDH revenues and you are not expected to sell anything.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current and valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of TX
  • Current CPR certification.
  • N2O certification
  • Excellent clinical skills and a thorough understanding of dental hygiene principles and procedures.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive oral hygiene assessments, including charting dental and periodontal conditions, and documenting findings accurately in patient records.
  • Provide professional dental cleanings, scaling and root planning, and debridement procedures.
  • Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventative agents.
  • Take and develop high-quality digital dental radiographs.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, individualized home care plans, and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
  • Assist the dentist with examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operatory.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate effectively with the dentist, dental assistants, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
