Job description We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing preventive dental care to patients, including routine cleanings, oral examinations, and patient education. Our practice is committed to delivering high-quality care in a friendly and supportive environment. Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings and screenings to assess oral health Take dental X-rays and assist dentists with patient assessments Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and disease prevention Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care Adhere to infection control and safety protocols Requirements: Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program Current state licensure as a dental hygienist CPR certification and certified local Anesthesia Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Commitment to providing excellent patient care Job Title: Dental Hygienist Location: Elizabethtown, KY Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time Experience: Preferred Schedule: 8 hour day shifts No night shifts and No weekends Benefits: Paid time off 401(k) matching 7 Days holiday pay Health reimbursement accounts such as HSA.
