This role is responsible for verifying all insurance eligibility for scheduled patient appointments, prepare treatment plans aligned with insurance requirements and patient needs and identify and secure prior authorization requirements prior to services. Expected Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm; Hybrid would be considered Job Responsibilities Ensure authorization for dental services are obtained, documented, scanned and tracked. Assists providers with preparation of required documentation/forms for treatment authorization. Verifies client insurance; entails contacting insurance companies to obtain benefits related to services being rendered and updating the client insurance information in Practice Management system. Write up proposed treatment from providers, indicating client financial responsibility. Maintain notes in the patient account/appointment to notify Client Service Representative(s) of payments due. Enters charges for services rendered Research and rectify denied claims involves posting denials into electronic Practice Management System Provides client assistance in person and over telephone with payment related inquiries, involves providing explanation of patient statements/charges Why UCFS?
