JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients. We offer all aspects of general dentistry to oral surgery and implant placement.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; we welcome applications from those looking to start their career in dental nursing.
• Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with a focus on empathy and understanding.
• Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous.

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
• Provide excellent patient care by ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using IT systems effectively.
• Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the surgery and waiting areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote better dental health.
• Manage appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary to optimise patient flow.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient operation of the practice.
