REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
  • A recognised nursing qualification is required; additional qualifications in dental nursing are advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.

  • Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment prior to dental procedures.

  • Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and answer any questions they may have.
  • Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage appointment schedules and assist with patient flow in the practice.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
