Position Type: Full time maternity leave position
Monash Health Dental Services, Springvale site is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant - Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our Dandenong clinic.
Reporting directly to the Team Coordinator, you will work closely with a dedicated, passionate team to provide exceptional patient care and support in both clinical and administrative settings.
As the first point of contact for patients, your professionalism, communication skills, and commitment to excellence will be key to your success in this role.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

To be considered for this important role, you will ideally possess the following:

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting (essential)
  • Certificate IV in Oral Health Promotion
  • Strong organizational skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards work
  • A comprehensive understanding of infection control procedures and tracking systems
  • Thorough and extensive knowledge of dental procedures
  • A friendly, outgoing, and reliable demeanor
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Well-developed clinical and administrative skills
  • While previous experience with Titanium software is an advantage, it is not mandatory.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with chair-side dental procedures and patient care
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Manage patient appointments, bookings, and inquiries
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Perform general reception duties such as answering phones, checking-in patients, and processing payments
  • Support the dental team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
