QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong patient care skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for patients.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Excellent nursing skills, demonstrating a thorough understanding of dental procedures and protocols.
• Strong IT skills to manage patient records and utilise practice management software efficiently.
• Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members.

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
• Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with patients for follow-up visits.
• Utilise IT systems effectively for record-keeping and communication within the practice.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations and high standards of care.
