JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a motivated and trustworthy individual looking for an exciting new opportunity in Birmingham?
We are looking for a proficient Dental Nurse to join an independently-owned new state-of-the-art practice within a prime location 1.5 miles from Birmingham city centre that provides quality evidence-based private dental treatment to members of the public.
We are looking for somebody who is driven, works with intuition and has a responsible and professional attitude to work with excellent attention to detail.
Both staff well-being and patient care are at the forefront of this practices core values. The right candidate will be welcomed into a fun yet professional and caring atmosphere.
It would be advantageous to have some post qualification training in sedation/radiography or any additional areas, but not essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years experience in dental nursing duties
  • Dental nursing qualification
  • Radiography qualification desirable
  • Ability to multitask
  • Exceptional communication skills and a personable approach.
  • IT Literate
  • Candidates must be enthusiastic and confident in their roles
  • Approachable and able to effectively manage tasks delegated to them.
  • Must have private experience
  • DBS clear
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • GDC registration

Responsibilities
  • Full time opportunity (Mon-Fri and occasional Saturdays that will be confirmed with you beforehand)
  • Providing clinical chairside support
  • Decontamination duties
  • To greet patients and ensure they are comfortable and at ease
  • Daily management of surgery and stock
  • To maintain exceptional cross infection of the surgery
  • Occasional front desk duties
  • Ensure CQC requirements are met
  • Update patient records
  • Cleaning duties before and after patients
  • Carrying out tasks set by senior management.
