JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support within our dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist dentists during procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, and contribute to a positive experience for our patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting; previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Relevant nursing qualifications or certifications that demonstrate your capability in providing dental care support.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Provide high-quality patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns or questions patients may have.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure that the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment plans and post-operative care instructions.
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a seamless workflow within the practice.
  • Utilise IT systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and maintaining inventory.
