QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a Dental Nurse and/or Receptionist preferred
  • Relevant dental nursing qualifications (e.g., GDC registration), preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using dental practice management software, preferred
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

Responsibilities

Dental Nurse Duties:

  • Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Manage patient records and update treatment information
  • Provide patient care and support, making them feel comfortable during appointments
  • Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment

Receptionist Duties:

  • Greet and check in patients, providing excellent customer service
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient bookings
  • Handle patient inquiries and assist with insurance verifications
  • Maintain patient files and ensure proper documentation is up to date
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries
  • Additional Requirements:
  • The position will require travel between our Brunswick and Malvern practices, although this will not be required on a daily basis.
