Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our thriving dental practice in Manchester, United Kingdom. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and managing front desk operations efficiently. Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for patients Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment Manage the reception area, greeting patients and scheduling appointments Handle patient enquiries via phone, email, and in person Maintain accurate patient records and update the practice management system Process payments and manage financial transactions Coordinate with dental laboratories and suppliers as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols Contribute to the overall efficient running of the dental practice Qualifications Dental Nursing qualification (e.g., National Diploma in Dental Nursing) Current GDC (General Dental Council) registration Previous experience as a dental nurse and/or receptionist is preferred Excellent knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach Proficiency in dental practice management software and general computer skills Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to continuing professional development and staying updated with industry standards Flexibility to work varying shifts as required Additional Information We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity, equity and inclusion in our workplace.
