*Administrative/ Reception Duties
- Make appointments for patients in person or on telephone for the dentist and hygienist.
- Manage the diaries of all clinicians, deal with patient queries by phone, email and in person and also undertake other duties and responsibilities of an administrative nature to include filing out patient record cards and booking appointments.
- Be able to communicate comfortably and effectively with patients about money and accept payments for treatments in the appropriate manner.
- Answer the telephone in a personal way and make telephone calls to patients as appropriate.
- Be capable of using a computer system within the Practice effectively.
*Assisting the Dentist in the surgery Duties:
Ensure that the dental surgery operates efficiently, is welcoming and prepared for the treatment planned, is fully stocked and equipped, and that the operating environment for the dentist is as efficient as possible.
Carry out rigorous infection control procedures within the surgery. Clean and sterilise all equipment and working surfaces and practice premises to the required standards.
Support and assist the dentist at the chair-side during dental procedures and with the completion of patient records on the computerised system.
Process radiographs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £22,464.00-£25,565.00 per year
