Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Nurse/Trainee Dental Nurse to join our growing dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will work closely with the dentist to ensure our patients receive the highest level of care and attention.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatments and procedures.
  • Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays).
  • Sterilising instruments and equipment.
  • Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, materials and supplies.
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
  • Monitoring and managing dental equipment and inventory.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Supporting administrative duties, including maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a dental nurse is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilisation methods.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • Familiarity with dental software is a plus.

Education and Certification:

  • Completion of an accredited dental nursing program.
  • Registered Dental Nurse certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
