JOB OVERVIEW

Due to expansion we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a commitment to ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
We are a modern and well establish dental practice with a strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence, led by an experienced Clinic Manager and Principle Dentist. We offer a full range of treatments, from general dentistry to dental implants, cosmetic procedures, Invisalign as well as Clear Correct and facial aesthetics which means up can upskill or broaden your clinical experience in a supportive, progressive environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with a focus on empathy and understanding.
  • Experience with SOE preferred but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required using IT systems.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment.
  • Manage appointment schedules, including booking follow-up appointments and sending reminders to patients.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of care.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest practices in dental nursing.
