REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Dental Nurse Qualification (National Diploma in Dental Nursing or equivalent)
• GDC Registration (General Dental Council)
• Implant nursing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised, with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Previous experience in a dental practice is essential.
• A positive attitude towards patient care and professionalism

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Experience in sedation.
• Experience in Full arch implant cases and TCO experience.
• Familiarity with dental software and practice management systems (Dentally)
• Post-qualification CPD (Continuing Professional Development)

ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Implant Dental Nurse, you will work with our in-house Implant dentist for 2 days a week and the rest of the week doing general dental nursing. The implant dentist is currently seeing general dental patients aswell as implant patients. You will be required to act as the first port of contact for all implant patients and perform duties as a treatment co-ordinator. You’ll play an integral role in providing excellent patient care while assisting the dentist with various dental procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice and providing support to patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit.
We are looking for a dental nurse position with a requirement for 4/ 5 days work.
Pay is based on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the implant dentist in implant cases during procedures
• Act as Implant treatment co-ordinator
• Assist Dentist/Therapist in general dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of procedures
• Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
• Manage appointments, patient flow, and follow-up care (reception duties)
• Adhere to health and safety standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
• Handle administrative tasks such as stocking supplies and ordering materials.
• Ensure that the practice is well maintained to continue providing high standard patient care.
