The clinic has a modern and relaxing feel. We look forward to reviewing your resume and meeting with you. This is a full-time permanent position - with 32-35 hours per week. Hours: Monday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Tuesday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Wednesday: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm Thursday: 10:00 am- 6:00 pm Responsibilities: Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records and appointments Hygiene scheduling Preparing and sending pre-determinations Following up on outstanding treatment Confirming upcoming appointments Billing, invoicing, taking payments, end of day balance Opening/closing duties, including POS system and ensuring end of day processes are complete Additional duties: Monitor the re-care program and get all patients who do not have an appointment scheduled, leading to less holes in the schedule. Calls patients off the pending list in Abeldent/RecallMax and gets them booked. Confirms all hygiene appointments two weeks prior if unconfirmed by system. Confirms all hygiene appointments two days prior if unconfirmed by system. Takes hygiene no shows and cancellation calls. Tracks and documents reasons for no show/cancellation. Get them rebooked as soon as possible. Requirements: The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment and has previous dental administration experience in a multi-provider setting Proficient computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail, organized and reliable Dental Office Software Experience (AbelDent, Dentrix, Maxident, etc.) Asset: Dental Assisting Skills/Qualifications MCA values diversity and is committed to creating and fostering a diverse team and an inclusive work environment.
