JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth operations within the clinic. We have a small privately owned office and are looking for a team member that cares about our patients and gets along well with our existing staff. We want someone that is willing to learn and take guidance as well as bring there own personal knowledge to the job. Previous dental office experience is required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist is required.
  • Familiarity with dental coding and insurance.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

  • Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information.
  • Previous knowledge of Open Dental is a plus.
  • Restock front desk supplies and keep the waiting room clean and tidy.
  • Handle phone inquiries, directing calls appropriately while addressing patient concerns promptly.
  • Support the dental clinic operations by managing front desk responsibilities efficiently.
