JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our two dental practices.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office management, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and ensuring efficient workflow. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Abledent or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of human resources practices related to hiring, training, and employee management.
  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is essential.
  • Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and motivation.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems for efficient patient data management.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures is beneficial.
  • Experience in budgeting processes to maintain financial oversight of the practice.
  • Background in hospital settings or acute care environments is a plus, enhancing understanding of patient care dynamics.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the front office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and insurance verification.

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of staff.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the dental practice, monitoring expenses and revenue to ensure financial health.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures to assist staff and patients effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the practice.
