About Us:
We are a small, family-owned general dentistry practice with one doctor, two full-time hygienists, and a third hygienist on Wednesdays. Our office is known for delivering excellent patient care in a warm, welcoming environment. We’re looking for a reliable and personable individual who can independently manage the front desk and grow with our practice for the long term.
Position Overview:
The Patient Care Coordinator will be the face of our practice, responsible for managing the front desk and ensuring a seamless experience for patients. This position plays a vital role in keeping our doctor’s and hygienists’ schedules full, supporting treatment planning, and helping patients understand their financial responsibilities.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch from 1:00–2:00)
  • Thursday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (straight through, no lunch break)
  • Fridays off (four-day workweek)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the front desk independently, welcoming patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to keep the doctor and hygienists’ schedules full
  • Present treatment plans clearly and collect patient portions at the time of service
  • Verify dental insurance benefits and ensure accurate patient records
  • Provide excellent customer service and build trusting relationships with patients
  • Assist in maintaining an organized, efficient, and smooth-running front office

What You Won’t Do:

  • You will not be responsible for dental insurance billing OR patient billing!

Qualifications:

  • Dental front office experience preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable discussing financial matters with patients
  • Dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn
