Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the practice, ensuring smooth workflows, regulatory compliance, and a positive work culture. You will work closely with clinicians, receptionists, and dental nurses to enhance patient satisfaction, You will focus on achieving financial targets, optimising operational efficiency, and leading a high-performing team. This role is perfect for a commercially minded leader with a passion for business growth and patient care

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and excellence in patient care.
  • Manage and support the team, including training, and performance management.
  • Financial & Business Growth: Drive revenue and profitability by implementing effective business strategies.
  • KPI & Target Management: Set, monitor, and achieve financial, operational, and patient care targets.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, GDC guidelines, and health & safety protocols.
  • Handle financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and cost control.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient experience and business growth.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring a well-organized patient journey.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, external providers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor and report on practice performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Oversee marketing and patient engagement strategies, including social media presence.
