OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of both financial management and human resources. This role is essential in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly, providing excellent patient care while maintaining a productive and harmonious work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a dental or veterinary practice is preferred.
  • Strong financial management skills with the ability to analyse budgets and financial reports effectively.
  • Excellent human resources capabilities, including experience in supervising staff and managing personnel issues.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members alike.
  • Proficiency in dental software systems is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas.
  • Supervise staff, including dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative personnel, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
  • Oversee financial management tasks, including budgeting, billing, and accounts receivable to ensure the financial health of the practice.
  • Implement human resources policies and procedures, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards of care within the practice.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients to enhance their experience and satisfaction with our services.
  • Coordinate schedules for staff and manage patient appointments to optimise workflow.
  • Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment; order as necessary to maintain adequate stock.
