We are a well-established, patient-centered, oral surgery practice with two locations and three board-certified surgeons dedicated to clinical excellence and compassionate care. Our team thrives in a supportive, high-performance environment where collaboration, professionalism, and accountability are highly valued. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Public Relations Coordinator (PRC) to join our team and help support our people and practice.

SUMMARY

The PRC is the face and voice of our practice in the dental community. This role is responsible for growing the practice by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with dental practices to increase patient referrals through effective outreach strategies and ensuring referring practices are well-supported. This role is primarily field-based and will focus on dental practices in and around Longmont, CO with in-office and remote work options for team collaboration and administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Effective in networking, building new relationships, and relationship management
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak comfortably, articulately, and with enthusiasm in public speaking, personal selling, and phone settings
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and set own schedule while working collaboratively with marketing and cross-functional teams
  • Some knowledge or experience with marketing
  • Intermediate proficiency with Google Workspace, office equipment, and general computer operation
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events
  • Safe, reliable vehicle and current driver’s license for visiting dental offices within account territory

Preferred but not required

  • 2+ years’ experience in a dental office setting with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

Responsibilities
  • Represent our practice in the dental community with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Plan and implement a yearly engagement calendar that attracts new referring practices, retains existing practices, and increases brand awareness
  • Identify and build relationships with dental practices and other industry partners to increase the volume of patient referrals to our practice
  • Maintain and work to strengthen relationships with current referring practices to deliver on our value proposition and drive referrals
  • Plan, manage, and execute events to engage local dental professionals and increase patient referrals, including but not limited to networking opportunities, lunches, happy hours, and holiday parties
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies that build and strengthen referral partnerships and increase patient referrals
  • Coordinate opportunities to participate in local industry events, networking events, and other promotional activities to raise awareness about our practice
  • Track and review marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Develop and manage budgets for assigned programs and event
