Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our dental office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional front desk support, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the office while delivering outstanding patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with dental software systems such as Tracker.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical or dental office is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Tracker
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with office procedures and administrative tasks relevant to front desk operations.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

    Pay: From $20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 16 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the office and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits using phone systems.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date in the Tracker software system.
  • Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and manage insurance claims effectively.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining the cleanliness of the front desk area.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication throughout the office.
  • Provide information to patients regarding treatment options, office policies, and procedures.
