Description:

Join the Monarch Dentistry Team! We are looking great Team Members to join our Burlington location. The ideal candidates for our clinic is a multi-tasker who values playing their part for the team. We are looking for someone who provides outstanding treatment to our valued patients.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a dental office administrator / Office Manager / treatment coordinator.
  • Experience in optimization of scheduling patient appointments
  • Managerial or supervisory experience
  • Experience maintaining a professional level of patient privacy
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends based on business needs.
  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to adapt and respond to a variety of patients
  • Experience with Dental practice management software (such as Abledent) is considered an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact to our team members and patients.
  • Oversee scheduling patient appointments efficiently; optimize the time and schedules of the dental professional team by minimizing gaps between appointments
  • Manage the daily team member schedule including verifying staff clock ins, updating Team member schedules as needed, coordinating coverage for vacation time, reviewing timeliness of appointment completion, and completing weekly and monthly reporting to our dentist
  • Build patient relationships through ongoing dialogue and resolving any escalated patient issues promptly
  • Responsible for the organization and co-ordination of office supplies, deliveries, petty cash, etc.
  • Manage the day to day finances by reviewing and processing accounts payable and receivable
  • collection of dental fees
  • manage accounts receivable and payment plans
  • interact with insurance companies (e.g. predeterminations, claim submission, etc)
  • generate various managerial reports
  • address all concerns in a timely manner with solutions that balance the needs of the business, patients and staff
  • monitoring employee shifts and managing staff vacation time
  • Work to improve clinic profitability by optimizing scheduling and reducing costs.
