Description

Our privately owned dental clinic is seeking a compassionate, experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced, high-tech dental office environment. The ideal candidate will be an ambassador for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires proficiency in front desk operations, familiarity with dental terminology, and experience with dental office software. Our office works Monday to Fridays from 730am until 5pm , with Tuesdays being from 11am to 7pm and Fridays are until 1pm.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a dental receptionist
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment, along with experience with dental software
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
  • Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Process patient payments and handle insurance verification and claims submissions.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
  • Keep the reception area organized and welcoming for patients.
  • Assist in managing office supplies and inventory as needed.
