Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a friendly and organised individual to join our team as a Dental Practice
Receptionist. As a vital member of our practice, you will be the first point of contact for our
patients, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth experience. Your excellent communication
skills and attention to detail will contribute significantly to maintaining a positive and
efficient practice environment. This role can be either part time or full time.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and welcome.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming

appointments.

  • Answer phone calls and handle enquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection

regulations.

  • Process patient payments and manage billing enquiries.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing and maintaining a tidy

reception area.

  • Collaborate effectively with dental staff to ensure smooth workflow throughout the

practice.

  • Follow practice protocols to ensure patient safety and comply with health regulations.
  • Notify the Practice Manager of any issues affecting patient flow or reception

operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dental practice as a receptionist is desirable, particularly

with SOE software. However, training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Reliability and honesty, with a commitment to excellent patient care.
  • A passion for creating a welcoming environment for patients.

Practice Hours:

Our practice is open from:

  • Monday: 8am-5:30pm
  • Tuesday: 8am-7pm
  • Wednesday: 8am-7pm
  • Thursday: 8am-6pm
  • Friday: 8am-4:30pm
