JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice.
The position is 4 to 5 days per week, Monday - Friday. Working hours are 8.30am-5.30pm with an unpaid lunch hour 1pm-2pm.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous office experience is essential, preferably within a healthcare or dental setting.
  • Administrative experience is highly desirable, demonstrating proficiency in managing office tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are vital for this role.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures and SOE software would be advantageous but is not mandatory. If you are passionate about providing excellent patient care and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Dental Receptionist.

  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist’s time.
  • Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
  • Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
  • Process payments with accuracy.
  • Assist with administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
