JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a friendly and professional Dental Receptionist/Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks that keep our dental practice running smoothly. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others. Although this will be a predominately reception role, we would ideally like someone registered with the GDC or an experienced trainee as some dental nursing maybe required for cover.

EXPERIENCE

  • Dental Nursing ( preferred not essential)
  • GDC registration ( preferred not essential)
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred, ideally within a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a professional telephone manner
  • Proficiency in using office software and practice management systems

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and check them in for their appointments
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using our practice management software
  • Handle incoming calls, addressing patient inquiries and providing information about services
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries with professionalism
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
