Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our small patient focussed team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor to ensure a welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

  • Greet patients upon arrival and check them in for their appointments.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Logitech software.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, answering calls promptly and addressing inquiries or directing calls as necessary.
  • Maintain patient records with accuracy, ensuring all dental terminology is correctly documented.
  • Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries efficiently. Knowledge of insurance billing, co-payments, dual insurance billing for an assignment office
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal office operations.
  • Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable, follow up with patients and insurance companies to collect outstanding amounts

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist. Minimum 4 yrs experience
  • Familiarity with Logitech software paperless.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the team and with patients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with front desk operations and administrative duties is required.
